Meet the SENDCO

Hi, I’m Talya, and I have been part of the team at Banana Moon Nursery Croydon and Hounslow since April 2025. I currently hold the role of Operations and Practice Manager, as well as the nursery’s SENDCo.

I have 10 years of experience working with children, and throughout this time I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn, grow, and communicate in their own individual ways. I am very passionate about working closely with each and every child, supporting their individual needs, and helping them reach their full potential.

In my role as SENDCo, I feel honoured and proud to be able to support children with special educational needs and disabilities. I work closely with families, Early Years Practitioners, and external professionals to ensure children receive the care, support, and guidance they need to thrive.

Here at Banana Moon, I am lucky to work alongside an amazing team. Together, we focus on best practice, inclusive support, and creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, understood, and confident.

I am dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all children and take pride in supporting their development, wellbeing, and happiness.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, art, adventures, animals, playing tennis, and spending quality time with my family.
